Festival Celebrates Brazilian Culture with Music, Traditional Food, and Capoeira. The Edition is Supported by Inter and Debuts in Brickell, Miami’s Prime Area.
MIAMI, USA — May 13, 2025
Miami will come to a standstill in July. The American city will host Brazil Day Miami, a free public festival that promises to transform the downtown area into a true Brazilian celebration. The event will take place on July 13, 2025, from 12 PM to 7 PM, with expectations of attracting over 10,000 people to the city’s main region.
The celebration will be held in Brickell, an area that is now the financial center of Miami — and often referred to as “tropical Manhattan” for its blend of skyscrapers, international cuisine, and residents from all over the world. It is also home to thousands of Brazilians, making the area a new epicenter of Latin and Brazilian culture in the city.
The festival will occur at The Underline, a linear park running beneath Miami’s metro lines, inspired by New York's High Line. The space, which connects important neighborhoods in the city, is being transformed into a hub of urban art, leisure, and sustainable mobility.

Why Does This Matter for Brazil?
The event marks an important shift in how Brazilian culture is perceived outside the country. Today, over 1 million Brazilians visit Florida each year, according to official data. Additionally, it is estimated that around half a million live in the state, including permanent and temporary residents. There are more than 160 direct flights per week between Brazil and Florida, with daily connections from cities like São Paulo, Rio, Brasília, and Belo Horizonte to Miami, Orlando, and Fort Lauderdale.
“Florida has become the symbolic capital of Brazilians in the United States. It's not just tourism — it's residency, business, real connections. Bringing Brazil Day here is creating an event that matches this growing presence,” says Kaio Philipe, CMO of Inter, the official organizer of the event.
Inter is a digital bank headquartered in Brazil with operations in the USA and Argentina, aimed at Brazilians living, traveling, or investing abroad.
What to Expect at Brazil Day Miami:

“Our goal is for Brazil Day to become a fixed part of the city’s calendar. We want to create a space where Brazilians feel at home and where foreigners can truly experience Brazil beyond the stereotypes,” Kaio adds.
The organization also promises activations from Brazilian brands expanding in the USA.
