April 1, 2025 — Miami, FL — Inter (NASDAQ: INTR), the financial technology company and the first international brand to secure naming rights for a major U.S. arena hosting both Major League Soccer (MLS) and National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) teams—the Inter&Co Stadium in Orlando—announced today an expansion of its global branding portfolio through a unique naming rights agreement.
Under the agreement, Inter has acquired naming rights to Olympus Mons, the tallest known mountain in the solar system. Olympus Mons rises approximately 21.9 kilometers (72,000 feet)—nearly three times the height of Mount Everest—and spans roughly 600 kilometers in diameter, comparable to the size of the state of Florida. Effective immediately, and pending local approvals and permits, the iconic formation will be rebranded as Inter Olympus. Inter Global Account clients will be able to observe Inter Olympus from Earth under optimal viewing conditions using telescopes. The new naming rights landmark is situated on the surface of Mars.
This move follows significant growth in public interest surrounding space exploration and interplanetary tourism. According to recent Google Trends data, searches related to "trips to Mars" have exceeded those of traditional vacation destinations such as Cancun, signaling increased consumer enthusiasm for unique travel experiences.
Additionally, Inter has revealed preliminary plans to offer limited Mars-bound travel packages exclusively to U.S.-based Global Account clients, starting in 2034. While details and transport partners are yet to be finalized, Inter confirmed active discussions with leading aerospace firms.
The Mars initiative further complements Inter’s existing lifestyle and experiential benefits available to Global Account clients, which include cashback rewards, VIP access to Inter&Co Stadium, discounts on Brightline travel across Florida, curated cycling tours with Inter Bikes in Miami, and exclusive offerings at Inter Café locations throughout the Americas.
