Inter Bikes: Get ready to explore Miami on two wheels, simply and sustainably
The Underline is transforming into one of the most vibrant and versatile places in Miami. And very soon, those walking through this linear park will find a new way to move freely: Inter Bikes, Inter's bikesharing system.
Designed to integrate with the active urban life of the city, Inter Bikes will offer a sustainable and accessible alternative for those who want to explore, travel, or simply enjoy a different ride through Miami.
What is Inter Bikes?
Inter Bikes is a public bikesharing program that will operate along the 10-mile stretch of The Underline, the linear park running under the Metrorail from Brickell and extending to Dadeland South.
The system will span the entire park, with about 10-14 bike stations and will feature 100 bicycles distributed at strategic points (starting in Brickell and moving south).
The first phase of this project will be implemented in the Brickell area, one of the most trafficked and connected neighborhoods in Miami.
A new way to get around The Underline
Inter bicycles will be available and will represent an alternative for you if you are looking to:
● Avoid traffic on short trips within the city.
● Exercise while exploring one of the most innovative urban parks in the country.
● Move between Metrorail stations with greater autonomy.
● Connect with the city from a more active and environmentally friendly perspective.
Whether you are a resident, student, tourist, or professional working in the area, Inter Bikes will offer a different experience of urban mobility in Miami.
Why at The Underline?
The Underline is much more than a park: it is a project of urban and ecological transformation that connects neighborhoods and people with dynamic public spaces. Along its 16 kilometers under the Metrorail, this green corridor offers recreational areas, butterfly gardens, exercise spaces, outdoor art, and a unique experience of mobility and community in the heart of Miami.
Inter is an active part of this transformation. Throughout the park, you can also find:
● Inter Stage, at the Brickell station, featuring a giant screen for community events and live broadcasts.
● Inter Plaza, located on Stanford Drive next to the University of Miami.
● Inter Grove Gallery, near the Coconut Grove Metrorail station.
● 3 Inter Cafés, one already open in Brickell and two more opening soon in Coconut Grove and Coral Gables, offering quality coffee at key locations in the park.
The Underline is today a symbol of a more connected, accessible, and sustainable city — and Inter Bikes will be a new addition to that movement.
